Jonathan Lo Lo spent his childhood traveling between Tokyo and Los Angeles. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with an Economics degree, but found his true calling in music and design. Primarily self-taught in graphic design, his "anything is possible" attitude coupled with a keen business sense gives him an edge (or so he tells his clients). He has absorbed graphic design at Otis College of Art and Design, also receiving a scholarship to study product design at Parsons, the New School for Design.

Before joining SHoP, he worked in music production at KCRW, marketing and promotions at Om Records, and as a staff writer at MTV. He has also designed for Access Unlimited magazine. When not working his day job, he designs as a part of the Los Angeles-based design collective, Nikkaia Laboratory. He has worked on projects ranging from product design, environmental design, to print, and branding. He is currently excited to be working on a monograph for SHoP Architects.
