LEAH RAINTREE received a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University, majoring in both Painting and Art History. Leah is an exceptional talent whose works consider metaphors for growth and development, filtered through the imagination. Sampling from diverse flora and fauna, biological phenomena, magic realism literature and design ornamentation, details amass to generate opulent artifacts, dense dreamscapes and macabre forms. She has works in private collections and was recently selected as an Artist in Residence at Rocky Mountain National Park and Big Cypress National Preserve. Leah currently lives and works in New York City.
